How I got a page rank of 2 in less than 1 year

Choose a domain name with key words in it.

Next install Word Press with these Plugins

Akismet  :  Checks your comments against the Akismet web service to reduce spam.

All in One SEO Pack  : Out-of-the-box SEO for your WordPress. Video

Google News :  Displays a selectable Google News RSS feed.

Google XML Sitemaps :  This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap .

Titles : The text that you see in your browser’s window bar is the most important thing on your page.
Choose carefully, use 2 to 5 words only. Don’t key word stuff the title.
Use 1 or 2 key words in a good descriptive meaningful title.
The less the better.

Use a Home Description in the All in One SEO Pack : To help describe your site automatically.
ie : meta name=”description” content=
A good Home Description is one of the most important things you can do and check spelling.
Use descriptive key words but don’t over stuff make it readable.
Try a web site or blog description service.

Keep web errors down by adding favicon on site,  use robots.txt file, use a 404.shtml file.

Use robots.txt to exclude folders or pages that have to many links on them.

Always use No Follow tags in links when possible. ie : rel=”nofollow”

Use Google Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer and Bing / MSN Webmaster Tools to add your site to there search engine. I did my website twice in google webmaster tools, one with www ie www.goodautoinfo.com one without www ie goodautoinfo.com. If you want to see data on your website try google analytics.

Another Tip is to google your web site then click on it in the results.  This works best if you can get other people to do it from there computer that has a different IP address.

Using H1 Paragraph tags and bold in your web page will help if you don’t over use it.

Use image tags ie : alt=”Photo of rainbow”

Keywords : Even if google doesn’t use them they still work.
The right key words will help in search results.
Place the keywords at the very end of the page.
Google WILL View all of the text in the left hand column Before The Body of the webpage. This isn’t good for us, because we want Google to actually read our content first!

Now the back link and reciprocal link controversy, most people say that links to your site are good if they come from a related and established web site. Other people say that any link to your site is good. I used the any link to your site is good. I submitted my web site to link exchange sites, automatic link exchange, blogs, blog directories, forums, link networks and social bookmarking. Just try to stay away from drug, adult and hacking sites. If you trade links you are going to have to make a link farm. Use robots.txt and no follow tag on it. Check out Submitting Tips for some good tips.

Make a Template to use in submitting your site.
I also use RoBoForm to fill in web forms.

In the Google XML Sitemaps plugin do the “rebuild the sitemap manually” option to ping the search engines. Then you should see this message:
Google was successfully notified about changes.
Bing was successfully notified about changes.
Ask.com was successfully notified about changes.

With PHP RSS Feeds your web pages will have fresh content everyday.
And since the words from the PHP RSS feeds will be embedded in the html of your website, the search engines will see the changing content on your web pages and come back more often.
You’ll also rank higher in the search results because search engines love to deliver fresh up to the minute content to their customers. I used scriptol.com rss-reader with a few modifications. This is better than the wordpress google news plugin.
